Vanessa draws on her experiences working in a variety of industries in Calgary and Toronto in which she utilizes her core skills in Information Technology and Communications. As a member of the GenYYC Leadership program (Calgary Foundation and Calgary Chamber of Commerce) and former Vice President of the Marketing and Communications portfolio for the Calgary IIBA® Chapter, Vanessa seeks opportunities to mentor other professionals, particularly welcoming those who have relocated. Vanessa contributed her strategic planning and alignment skills when the Calgary IIBA® Chapter achieved the esteemed Top Chapter and Most Sustainable Chapter awards. 

Vanessa has a passion for entrepreneurship and inventing and reinventing oneself and one’s business She helps small business owners address the overwhelm and competing priorities that hold them back from meeting their goals. Her insights and advice help owners lift their heads above the day to day chaos so they can focus on the most important tasks. With her communications background and education, she assists with social media and marketing.
